He is a passionate HR professional and currently the CEO/Director of Vetting Processes International Limited.
As a graduate of Human Resources Management, George holds a Bachelor of Social Work & Social Administration from Makerere University- Uganda and a Masters of Management Studies and various Post Graduate qualifications in HR from Uganda Management Institute (UMI)-Kampala. George William Ssekanjako is currently on the esteemed Ph.D. programme in Institutional Management & Leadership of the above Institute.
George’s work experience spans over 8 years in the areas of general banking operations including Customer service in Bank of Africa, Human Resources Officer/Manager in Ugacof Uganda and Bank of Africa Uganda Ltd respectively, and Head of Learning & Development function at DfcuBank-Uganda. He’s on the business edge certification program of the IFC-World bank besides; George is very passionate about the progress of Human Resource as a profession in the formal Organisations in Uganda and in the wider East African Region.
George is a member of many Advisory Boards namely: East African HR summit, African Grid of Managers, and Uganda Martyrs’ Senior Secondary School-Namugongo among others. He has a multi-faceted character with an outgoing personality. He plays Badminton & Lawn tennis in his free time.
He’s married to Justine and has two children, Jeremiah Steven, and Catherine Jarrige. His desire is to see a world free of suffering thus he desires one day to contribute to philanthropy.
